Damarion Champagne, a 17-year-old from North Charleston, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 27, 2021. His death was part of a harrowing incident that also claimed the life of 21-year-old Jasmond Grant. Both individuals were found deceased in a burning apartment at the Filbin Creek Apartments. The Charleston County Coroner, Bobbi Jo O’Neal, confirmed that both victims had died from gunshot wounds before the fire was discovered.
