In the winter of 2022, the life of 19-year-old Saveon Sincere Robinson, a male, was tragically cut short in Columbia, South Carolina. On the evening of Saturday, February 19, law enforcement responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex on Longcreek Drive. Arriving at the scene near the junction of Broad River Road and Interstate 20, deputies discovered Robinson unresponsive outside one of the apartment buildings. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Saveon, born on May 3, 2002, in Lexington, SC, was remembered as a happy young man who cherished his family and friends. A 2020 graduate of River Bluff High School, he had been an active student, playing both basketball and football. His leisure time was often spent with his cousins, and he was a member of the Mt. Enon Baptist Church.

The investigation into Robinson's death led to the arrests of five men. In early May of 2022, the Richland County Sheriff's Department announced the arrests of Jayun Harrison, 19, Winston Lobban, 20, and Jamaris Quattlebaum, 19. They were each charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Later that same month, two more suspects were taken into custody. Dyron Dahason Tisdale, 25, and Raheem Jabree Taylor, 21, were also charged with the murder of Saveon Robinson. In addition to the murder charge, Tisdale faced several other charges, including unlawful carrying of a weapon and first-degree burglary.

While arrests were made, the motive for the shooting was not immediately released to the public. The five individuals charged in connection with the death of Saveon Sincere Robinson were held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
