Eddie Alexander Boyd, a 40-year-old resident of Sumter, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on Monday, September 11, 2023, in Columbia, South Carolina. Boyd was one of two victims involved in a fatal shooting incident that occurred on Shakespeare Road. He was transported to Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
