In the early spring of 2022, a dispute that simmered on social media tragically spilled into the real world, claiming the life of 21-year-old Paris Janai Kennedy in Spartanburg, South Carolina. On the afternoon of Sunday, March 13, Kennedy was present at the Quail Point Apartments on E. Blackstock Road, where a fight was expected to take place.
