On a tragic Mother's Day, May 8, 2022, 58-year-old Teresa Lischer was found dead in her Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, home. An investigation by the Horry County Police Department soon revealed that her death was a homicide caused by a gunshot wound. Ms. Lischer, a registered nurse who had moved to Myrtle Beach to live out her dream of being near the ocean, was remembered for her love of helping people, the outdoors, and spending time with her beloved dog, Rudy.
