Frances Mae Davis, a 78-year-old resident of Little River, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on January 8, 2016, just one day before her 79th birthday. Frances, affectionately known as May, was shot while sitting in a car at the Myrtle Beach Mall. She was waiting for her daughter, who had briefly gone into the mall to shop for her birthday. When her daughter returned, she found Frances slumped over in the passenger seat with a gunshot wound to her neck and her purse missing.
