In the late summer of 1978, the life of George Almquist, a 43-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in Wichita, Kansas. A dedicated minister for the United Methodist Church, he was in the city to attend the Kansas West Conference annual meeting. On September 14, 1978, Almquist was found deceased at 930 N Broadway.
