In a quiet West Columbia neighborhood, a dispute over twenty dollars for cutting the grass tragically escalated, leading to the death of 66-year-old Michael Duane Funny. On the evening of August 25, 2022, Funny, a long-distance truck driver who had just returned home after several weeks on the road, drove to a residence on Glenn Road. He was there to pay the father of Cleveland Stone Jr. for recent yard work.
