In the summer of 1981, the life of a young Caucasian man, Earnest Rivers III, was tragically cut short at the age of 23. On June 8th, he was discovered murdered in his Wichita, Kansas home, a victim of fatal gunshots. The scene that unfolded at his residence on North Minneapolis Street was one of shared tragedy, as he was found alongside 22-year-old Carolyn Rivers, who had also been shot and killed.
