In the early hours of Labor Day, September 1, 2025, the life of D'Andre Leonardo Rubio-Glover, a 23-year-old Black male from Wichita, Kansas, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded in the popular Old Town district, a hub of nightlife and entertainment. Just before 1:40 a.m., what began as a disturbance escalated into violence outside the Fever Night Life nightclub near the intersection of Douglas and Rock Island.
