In the early afternoon of a Tuesday in Wichita, Kansas, the life of Nor Carter III, a 34-year-old Black male, was cut short by gunfire. On April 23, 2024, shortly after noon, police responded to a shooting call in the 1400 block of North Minnesota. Upon arrival, officers discovered Carter suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
