In the late hours of a warm August evening in 2022, a dispute at the Lancaster Motor Speedway in South Carolina tragically ended the life of 53-year-old Rodney Cunningham. A Black male, Cunningham was working as a security guard at the speedway on Saturday, August 27th, when the incident unfolded. He was a married father of six and a grandfather of seven, remembered by his family as a kind and loving man.
