On a Monday morning in Greenville County, South Carolina, the life of Xavier Diquan Williams, a 29-year-old Black man from Mauldin, was tragically cut short. On December 19, 2022, deputies were called to a business on Augusta Road around 10:40 a.m., where they found Williams with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office later confirmed that Williams died from gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen. In the immediate aftermath ...
