Randall A. Koger, a 15-year-old student from Manchester, Missouri, tragically lost his life on January 20, 1983, in a shooting incident at Parkway South Junior High School. The incident occurred during a study hall session when David L. Lawler, a 14-year-old fellow student, opened fire. Randall was fatally shot three times in the back, with one of the bullets piercing his heart, leading to his death at 12:28 p.m. that day.
