Wayne Robert Warner, who died on November 19, 1986, in Mooresville, Missouri, was a victim of a notorious murder case involving Ray and Faye Copeland. The Copelands were an elderly couple who orchestrated a series of murders as part of a fraudulent check and cattle buying scheme. Wayne Warner was one of at least five homeless transients who fell victim to this scheme between 1986 and 1989.
