On October 31, 2000, 44-year-old male Sergeant Richard Eric Weinhold of the St. Louis County Police Department responded to a call that would tragically end his life. The incident occurred in the early afternoon when officers were summoned to a residence in the 1900 block of Chambers Road in St. Louis, Missouri.
