Sergeant Richard Eric Weinhold, a 44-year-old officer with the St. Louis County Police Department, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2000, while performing his duties. On that fateful day, Sergeant Weinhold and several other officers responded to a residence at 1942 Chambers Road following a complaint from the homeowner.
