In the quiet streets of north St. Louis, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm on June 22, 2020, leaving a somber mark on the community. Woodrow Thomas, a 43-year-old Black male, was tragically killed in a double shooting that unfolded in the 4900 block of Plover Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Thomas and another man, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
