In the early summer of 2012, Keith Terrell Porter, a 42-year-old man, was found deceased in his St. Louis, Missouri, residence. His life was cut short by an act of gun violence on or around June 2nd of that year.

Authorities were called to his home, where they discovered Mr. Porter had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Division promptly launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. The case was classified as a ...
