Deion J. Solomon, an 18-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on July 17, 2014. According to reports, Solomon was standing on the porch of a residence in the 6900 block of Bellefontaine Avenue when a black car drove by and opened fire. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m., and Solomon was struck by the gunfire. Before the police could arrive at the scene, Solomon was transported to Research Hospital by a private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead.
