On a winter evening in St. Louis, Missouri, events unfolded that tragically ended the life of 28-year-old Terrell Beasley. On December 19, 2014, Beasley was involved in an incident that began with the following of an off-duty police officer. The officer, after being followed, stopped and exited his vehicle, at which point shots were fired at him from the car Beasley was in. The officer returned fire, and in the exchange, Beasley was shot and killed.
