On January 16, 2015, in the Northland area of Kansas City, Missouri, 69-year-old Dennis Gene Honey was killed in a violent domestic incident. A long-time resident of the area and a dedicated serviceman for Southwestern Bell Co. for nearly three decades, Dennis had formerly lived in Lebanon, Missouri, before settling in Kansas City. He was known for his involvement in the community as a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Park Hill Baptist Church.
