In the early hours of April 25, 2015, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in the 1400 block of Elizabeth Street in Jefferson City, Missouri, leaving 33-year-old Bryant Sturkey, a male, with multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses at the scene identified Paris Mark Alexander-Henderson, who was 27 at the time, as the shooter. Emergency services rushed Sturkey to a nearby hospital, but his injuries, including a critical wound to his torso, proved fatal.
