In the early morning hours of February 8, 2019, a tragic series of events unfolded in Jefferson City, Missouri, leading to the death of 63-year-old Clifton Withers. The incident began to come to light at approximately 3:49 a.m. when the Cole County Sheriff's Department received a harrowing 911 call from a woman who reported that both she and her husband, Clifton Withers, had been shot. During the call, she identified their assailant.
