In May of 2015, the community of Fenton, Missouri, was struck by the loss of Eric Meyer, a 41-year-old male and a respected English teacher at Lindbergh High School. His death, which occurred on May 28, 2015, was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Mr. Meyer's body was discovered in a Fenton park, prompting an investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department. The initial findings from the scene led authorities to suspect his death was a suicide.
This was later confirmed by the police, who officially ruled that Mr. Meyer had taken his own life.
Given the nature of the cause of death, there was no indication of foul play, and therefore no arrests were made in connection with the case.
