In the late afternoon of August 20, 2015, in Florissant, Missouri, a sense of normalcy was shattered by an act of sudden violence that claimed the life of Alan Roach, a 57-year-old male employee at Montgomery Auto Repair. Responding to a report of shots fired at the Washington Street business at approximately 5:33 p.m., police officers arrived to a grim scene.
