Alvino Dwight Crawford Jr., a 29-year-old Black male from Kansas City, Missouri, was killed in the early morning hours of July 5, 2016. Just a day prior, he had spent the Fourth of July holiday volunteering to feed the homeless, a reflection of his character described by family as jovial and caring.
