In a tragic event that unfolded in south St. Louis, 30-year-old Christopher Catanzaro, a male, lost his life on August 14, 2016. The incident occurred in the 6700 block of Plainview Avenue, a location near the well-known Ted Drewes frozen custard stand.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police homicide detectives were summoned to the residence where they made the grim discovery of two bodies. The investigation that followed led police to believe that the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide.
