Sharrieff Omar Muhammad, a 37-year-old resident of Independence, Missouri, was tragically found dead on the morning of December 9, 2016. His body was discovered by a teenage girl walking to her school bus stop in the area of 24th Street and Park Avenue. Muhammad had been shot to death, and neighbors reported hearing gunshots around 2 a.m. that morning.
