Christina Cunningham, a 23-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically found shot to death on February 5, 2017. Her body was discovered near her car along Interstate 29 by a Missouri Highway Patrol trooper responding to what appeared to be a stranded motorist. Upon arrival, the trooper found Cunningham on the ground, and she was subsequently pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The police ruled her death a homicide, confirming that she had been shot.
