Karen Louise Harmeyer, aged 64, was tragically murdered on July 18, 2017, in Grandview, a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. Karen, who was known to be a kind and gentle homeless woman, was found shot to death while she was relaxing alone with a cup of coffee at her campsite. Her death was a part of a series of homicides that shook the local community.
