On the morning of April 3, 2017, law enforcement officials in Raytown, Missouri, a suburb within the Kansas City metropolitan area, responded to a distress call regarding a shooting. Around 8:15 a.m., officers arrived at the Raytown Village Apartments located in the 7700 block of Raytown Road. upon their arrival, they discovered a male victim who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound.
