Charles Petty, a 34-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on April 20, 2017. The incident occurred while Petty was sitting with his girlfriend in a basement apartment. Around 8:30 a.m. on April 19, 2017, a bullet fired from an adjoining apartment pierced through the wall and struck Petty in the head. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Petty succumbed to his injuries early the next morning.
