A man is found dead in his backyard
In the quiet, rural landscape of Fountain County, near Covington, Indiana, a grim discovery brought a somber end to the prolonged absence of James William Ellis. On February 10, 2003, the body of the 58-year-old Caucasian male was found in his own backyard. Relatives, concerned after not hearing from him for over a month, had come to check on him, only to be met with the tragic scene. The last time anyone had reportedly seen the man, who was known to be a recluse, was on December 26, 2002.
