In the spring of 2021, the life of James 'Jimmy' Blancett, a 77-year-old male, was tragically cut short in his Indianapolis, Indiana home. On the morning of May 20th, police were called to his residence on the city's west side, where they made a grim discovery. Blancett was found seated upright on his couch, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his abdomen. His death marked a somber statistic, as he became the oldest homicide victim in Indianapolis that year.
