In the warm summer night of August 9, 2021, the life of 19-year-old Elvin Dubie Hollinger II was tragically cut short in his hometown of Flint, Michigan. Known to his loved ones as 'Dubie,' he was at a large gathering at Broome Park when gunfire erupted shortly after midnight. In the ensuing chaos, six people were shot. Hollinger, a male, was one of two victims who succumbed to their injuries that night, the other being 18-year-old Alyssa Rose McMahon.
