In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in August 2017, the quiet of a Pagedale, Missouri, intersection was broken by the discovery of a life tragically cut short. Responding to a 911 call at 3:18 a.m., St. Louis County police officers found the body of 59-year-old Chris Warren at the corner of Page Avenue and Gregan Place. Warren, a Black male from the 1400 block of Mendell Drive, had been shot. The initial discovery launched a homicide investigation into the violent end of a man's life.
