On December 9, 2023, David Harmon, a 30-year-old resident of Imperial, Missouri, was found with a gunshot wound in his left flank after his vehicle collided with a parked car in the 4000 block of California Avenue in South St. Louis. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 6:00 a.m. and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
