On the morning of October 25, 2017, the community of Berkeley in St. Louis County, Missouri, was shaken by the discovery of a deceased individual on a residential street. Mark Fowler, a fifty-six-year-old male, was found lying on the side of the road in the 8200 block of Courtney Avenue. Authorities were alerted to the scene around 8:10 a.m., where first responders located the victim suffering from what appeared to be significant physical trauma.
