Shawn L. Quick, a 33-year-old from Indianapolis, tragically lost his life on May 1, 2007. He was an active member of the Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church and had been employed at a local Kroger in the Twin Aire shopping center. His death added to the growing list of violent crimes in Indianapolis during that year, which had already seen a spike in homicides.
