On June 13, 2018, a 24-year-old Black male named Christopher Hicks was fatally shot in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Known affectionately by friends and family as 'Lil Chris' or 'The General,' Hicks was a father of three children and worked as a cook at an IHOP restaurant. He had attended CPA High School and was described by loved ones as a dedicated family man and a leader within his circle.
