In a quiet home in Greenfield, a community not far from Indianapolis, a man's life was brought to a sudden and violent end in February of 2023. The victim was 69-year-old Freddie E. Patterson, a male who lived in the residence with his half-sister and her son. The tranquility of their shared home was shattered on a Thursday night when authorities were called to the scene with a report of a deceased person.
