In the fall of 2018, the story of 46-year-old Crystal Chrisp, a female resident of the St. Louis area, came to a tragic end. Her death on October 2, 2018, was the culmination of a personal battle with cancer. Authorities confirmed that Chrisp died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in her Affton apartment. On the day of her death, emergency services also responded to a fire at her residence.
