In the winter of 2019, a burst of violence in Columbia, Missouri, cut short the life of 43-year-old Myron T. Woods. The Kansas City man was fatally wounded in a double shooting that occurred on a Sunday in the 5600 block of Clark Lane. Woods succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. A second victim, a 40-year-old man also from Kansas City, was treated for his injuries and subsequently released from a local hospital.
