On May 25, 2019, police officers in Saint Louis, Missouri, responded to a call reporting a shooting near the intersection of Union Boulevard and Dr. Martin Luther King Drive. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities discovered a victim inside a vehicle who had sustained fatal injuries. The individual had suffered gunshot wounds to the back and was pronounced deceased by first responders at the location.
The victim was identified as Tieryn Maurice Dilworth, a 19-year-old male. His death was classified as a homicide, adding to the violence recorded in the city that year.
