James L. Penny, aged 54, was one of five individuals found dead in a home in north St. Louis County on July 6, 2019. The tragic incident occurred in a residence on the 1900 block of Chambers Road. According to the St. Louis County Police Department, the deaths were the result of a homicide, with all five victims being shot to death. The other victims were identified as 65-year-old Rondall Mullin, 54-year-old Derrick Penny, 40-year-old Ronald Brewster Jr., and 37-year-old Rodney E. Holt.
