Leovardo Moreno Jr., a 22-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 25, 2019. Moreno was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting near the Power and Light District, a popular entertainment area in downtown Kansas City. The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. as Moreno and his cousin, Austin Quijas, were walking to a friend's loft. A vehicle approached them, and someone inside the vehicle opened fire, killing both Moreno and Quijas.
