Jalen Stevens, a 21-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on September 10, 2019. He was a passenger in a black Ford Mustang that came under fire near 79th and Blue Ridge Boulevard. The driver of the car, Makih Briggs, 20, was also shot and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The incident occurred following an argument at a nearby gas station, after which a truck followed their vehicle and opened fire multiple times.
