In the brisk morning air of a late autumn day in Saint Louis, Missouri, the life of Demetrius Whitt, a 30-year-old male, was brought to a violent and sudden end. On November 19, 2019, at approximately 10:43 AM, police responded to a call of a shooting at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and Arlington Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Whitt's lifeless body on the sidewalk next to a vacant lot at 5368 Ridge Avenue. He was suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
