In the early hours of Monday, May 31, 2010, the life of 33-year-old Reginald J. Didier was tragically cut short in a violent home invasion on the east side of Indianapolis. The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. in the 3900 block of East Fletcher Avenue. According to witness accounts, two to three men forced their way into the residence.
Once inside, the situation escalated quickly, and one of the intruders fatally shot Didier. The assailants then fled the scene on foot, vanishing into the surrounding neighborhood.
