On the evening of May 23, 2020, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet on the 5300 block of Cote Brilliante Avenue in St. Louis, leaving one man dead and another wounded. Robert Cannon, a 36-year-old male, was found shot outside a residence and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
